Spring songwriting projects
This year I took on the challenge of being more involved in the production of my music š
Friends! Happy Sunday āļø
š Thank you for your kind words and comments and for reading my newsletter. I am so joyful knowing that my stories resonate and inspire you. Some hopefully might ignite conversations, your creativity and reflections.
This week I want to update you on my spring-summer songwriting projects.
I am planning the release of my new single, Constellations. Itās the story of a woman who goes through a very healing inner journey, from being very unconfident to finally finding her voice and leading the way for others to follow.
Layers of introspections
What feels right will guide her
Dusty constellations
Hidden in the heart, will show her the way to go ā¦
Last year, I released the live version (piano and voice) on YouTube, and I look forward to sharing the fully arranged version.
New song on the horizonā¦.
I am also working on some new stuff. One song in particular that I am very committed to releasing this year. Born the morning after I went to that songwriters' circle I told you about a couple of newsletters ago, it is very close to my heart!
I'll probably call itĀ never too lateĀ or something like this. š
I am currently finalising the lyrics and the structure, but I plan to share more about it in one of the next newsletters.
Goalsā¦
This year, I also promised myself I'd take my music production skills to the next level. I want to start fully producing (or almost) my songs. I am very excited about this possibility. In my 20s, I studied vocal performance and jazz arrangements and so arranging has always been something I loved. When I took a break from music, though, I got a bit rusty, and with the change in software, plugins and techniques, I soon realised that things changed, and I needed to dedicate some time to upskill.
I'll share my progress with you as I continue my journey into music production. I am currently using Ableton, a very cool software with fantastic effects. Like a proper creative (I am sure some of you might relate), I get lost in the intricate and infinite world of sounds and effects š but hopefully, I'll get to a point where I can share some more 'finished' productions.
In the meantime, here are some videos I shared on Instagram about my creative process, and the acoustic version ofĀ Constellations, while we wait for the new single to come out.
Have a wonderful evening,
with love Leti

If you want to help, listening to my music on Spotify can also make a difference as it helps communicate to the algorithm that somewhere in the world likes and listens to my music. So here is the Spotify link in case you feel inspired to listen to my music or add it to your playlists.
