How I wrote Golden Beach
The story behind Golden Beach
Dear friends,
Today I’d love to share with you a bit about the story behind my song Golden Beach, which is coming out this Wednesday, 25th February.
Golden Beach speaks about that space of awareness we return to once the grasping of the mind is gone.
That place of ease, and presence we’ve never actually left.
The place we simply need to remember.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I forget.
Who I truly am.
Beyond my labels, roles, and achievements.
And when I do, I tend to grasp onto them more tightly.
Because that’s all I think I have. Or am.
Over the years, though, I’ve discovered again and again that nature and solitude are my loyal companions — guiding me back home to myself.
In the quiet space of a breath, I remember.
It’s a moment of pure recognition — the one I’m talking about.
An embodied, felt sense of awareness where the body exhales with freedom.
And relief.
Here everything dissolves, collapses. Possibilities emerge.
Where the mind becomes an expansive horizon under an indigo sky, on an evening by the sea.
I wrote Golden Beach two years ago in the Canary Islands during a three-week solo retreat. I wrote nonstop for those three weeks. The sea held me during a very vulnerable time and guided me to write this song, which became deeply healing for me.
When I came back to London, I recorded real drums (thanks to the amazing Dave Imby, who brought so much love to the track) and I then I mixed it.
I can’t wait to share it with you all.
It’s always a real privilege — and always a very vulnerable act — to let my work fly.
But my true intention is that this song may bring space and quiet to you.
I’m on a mission to reach 100 pre-saves before it comes out. I hope you feel inspired to support it.

Thank you for being here,
With Love,
Leti
